Number of Ubermix computers

(1/2) > >>

Cytochromec:
I would love to hear from the Ubermix community to get a sense of how many computers have been ubermixed. Location, length of time using Ubermix, model of computer, and grade levels would also be cool.

So to kick it off, at Carmel Unified we have about 75 eeePc netbooks running Ubermix in a pilot for the past few months with 6-12 grade students.

It has gone well so our plans for various 1:1 implementations at elementary at high school will be with Ubermix starting next year.

We (Saugus) have about 3000 and I know Littleton, CO has ~6000. Oak Lawn, IL has ~1800. All three plan to increase their deployments for next year. There are a whole bunch of other deployments out there, both large and small, although the exact numbers I don't personally know. Littleton has been using ubermix for a couple of years now, Oak Lawn started this year.

We recently did a pilot of 10, now 22. We are ordering another 60 netbooks over the next 6 months with will all have Ubermix on them. We've had no problems with ubermix or the deployment or the the Acer inspire one model netbook.

All grades (2-8)
used in carts scheduled via google calendar.

Very happy with Ubermix. very low maintenance.

We are deploying 110 netbooks with Ubermix on them to our high school next year. I have about 10 machines right now consisting of everything from netbooks to desktops and everyone that uses them loves it.

Keep up the good work guys, it is appreciated.

We deployed ~400 in August 2012 for 5th grade (1:1) and our 3 elementary campuses on the gold metallic HP Mini 2133 (VIA) and 2140 (Atom) netbooks. We're expecting 4th graders (~250 @ 1:1) to request them for next year.
