I'm trying to install on an Acer laptop running XP. I cannot set BIOS to boot from the usb so I downloaded the other file to burn to a disk (uber-install2.iso). When it runs these are supposed to be the options:
1.Install ubermix
2.Apply simple updates
3.Do both 1 & 2
4.Fast image (both 1 & 2, format user home, no prompts)
5.Expert Options

When i do this this selection appears BUT the first option is to "Image..."  blah, blah, blah.
I cannot install Ubermix! Frustrating!!
Can anyone shed light into this problem?

Choose option 1.

David:
Option 1 does nothing. It works for 10 seconds and then nothing. When I boot, it boots to Windows,which I want wiped out!

Try option 5 (Expert) the 4 (Reset partition table), reboot, and then try number 1 again.

If that doesn't work, use option 4.
