Error 17

 :-\ I made a 9.14GA key and get an "Error 17" after PCI device listing finishes....is there a fix

What kind of device is it? Could be an issue with USB 3.0. If you have both USB 3 and USB 2 ports, try the key in a USB 2 port.

old Gateway desktop...no USB 3
tried install CD in conjunction with Key and I chose 1, but nothing happens

having a similar issue on a new acer v5 netbook.  I'm re-downloading and recreating the key but given this is a win8 home system, wondering if I have some additional UEFI garbage to disable.

Yes, you have to set Boot Mode to Legacy BIOS and enable the F12 boot menu.
