No boot from USB after key resizing
« on: August 11, 2015, 09:14:49 AM »
I've followed the directions to "Resizing the Ubermix Key to Accommodate a Larger Base System Partition" on this page: http://ubermix.org/customization.html. I've tried more than once and am very certain that I've followed the directions correctly. However, after copying the files back to the re-sized UBERMIX key the computer will no longer boot from USB. The computer model is an HP Compaq dc5700, and I've tried booting on 2 different machines with the same result.

Note that I can get it to boot by using the boot CD option, but that's not a good solution.

This is with version 1.5, which is better for our situation.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Can anyone help? This is a really big problem for us and I just can't see anywhere that I'm leaving out a step.

I resized my installation USB key by using GParted.

Seems to work fine. It is always good to have the extra space.
