Cryptographic Hash Values (MD5, Sha1, etc) for ISO is Missing
(1/1)
PaulJRichardson:
The ISO image for your alternative (non-USB) install from CD, does not list an MD5, Sha1, etc.
However, most of the downloads DO provide a checksum (or crypto hash) for integrity of downloads.
I actually had a 'bad' download once from one of your images, on another file, relative to that published for the download -> which motivates me to ensure this gets done, for the sake of others ;-)
The ISO I am referring to, is NOT listed at the primary download page (as it is the unrecommended/alternative CD install ISO):
http://ubermix.org/download.html
http://ubermix.org/files.html
The ISO is listed on this page:
http://wiki.ubermix.org/page/CD_Install
FileName: uber-v2-32-install.iso
Here is the direct download link:

https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B52M_cKAX2ARVEM0b3ZwZVpWZG8
Less important, but perhaps potentially also time-saving, would be another couple minor grammatical/naming repairs, which I've identified below:
OLD (Invalid) Name: Image Writer for Windows
OLD (Invalid) Link: https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/+download
NEW (Correct) Name: Win32 Disk Imager
NEW (Correct) Link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager
... so, now at long last, here (below) are the values that I got, after the completed download for this ISO:
FileName: uber-v2-32-install.iso
MD5: b05b95560d5d1743a3fc3f5400e1d482
SHA-1 [160]: de7a4f2f8fdabb4d952c643aee2a742bf6d2a8b4
CRC32: 26cc3605
SizeHash-32: 0c97d800
Which you may want to publish on the page linking to that file.
Respectfully,
Paul
