2.11L missing "create legacy partition map"
« on: November 12, 2014, 09:59:27 AM »
I'm trying to install Ubermix 2.11L on some Asus EeePC 1000s.  They currently have Ubermix 1 (don't remember exactly which version).  I first tried option 1. Easy image system, but upon reboot, Ubermix 1 was still there.  Option 3 Apply Simple Updates Files doesn't do anything, the menu just immediately reloads.  I tried using 5. Expert options to 4. Reset primary disk partition map (destructive) before installing, and it still didn't work.  Furthermore, Ubermix 1 was still installed, which tells me that resetting the partition map didn't actually do anything.

I read that some older Asus machines could benefit from creating a legacy partition map, but this is missing from "Expert options."  Option 5 is set device hostname and option 6 is shell prompt.
