Remove "Files & Folders" from Launcher Bar

I have used the Main Menu (alacarte) to customize items in the launcher, but I would like to actually remove the group called "Files & Folders".  How can that be done?  It does not show up in the Main Menu at all.

I assume you are working with version 1.x. Files and folders is hardcoded into the launcher, so there is no way to remove it completely.

Yes, I am working with version 1.x.
