General Support / Mapping network drive

Hey.
I,m using ubermix on my schools computers (im the admin).
Ive installed the lubuntu desktop on ubermix, since even the light version of ubermix was a bit too much for these old pcs.
It works fine so far, and the last thing i need, is to map a network drive, so its accessible from the desktop
Ive followed this guide:

And it works great on the generic part.
But these changes doesnt carry over to the aufs part - i think ive narrowed it down to the changes in fstab not bring carried over.
Any help / suggestions?

General Discussion / How to make Lubuntu work like Ubermix

Hey.

I have become admin of my schools computer room.
It's a small lab with about 20 old pc's.
Today I tried installing Ubermix on one of them, and while it worked ok, it did run somewhat slow.
How difficult would it be to set up a lightweight distro like Lubuntu to work like Ubermix does?
