I have a small issue with Ubermix not installing :o Broadcom 4311 drivers. :o I noticed Ubuntu 12.04 will find the restricted drivers and automatically download and install them. Ubermix will not do this. I'm not sure the changes. Is there a way to enable the automatic driver updates like what is default on regular Ubuntu? I don't know if this is something that I can do with some quick terminal commands or by editing some kind of configuration file.
Any help would be Uber. :)
Thanks in advance.

Plug in wired and use Synaptic Package Manager to install bcmwl-kernel-source. Alternatively, open a terminal (ctrl-alt-t) and type "sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source"

That's everything?

That should do it.

I get this output when I got to install that kernel source.
user@system-7fe5a6:~$ sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

You might want to run 'apt-get -f install' to correct these:

So I found out the guy installed ubermix without an internet connection so some of the packages didn't install correctly. I installed the bcmwl-kernel-source and there is still no wireless interfaces or networks showing up. I run ifconfig and no wireless interface.
Is there something else I need to do to start services for wireless on this machine now?

Well I'm not getting errors now and I installed the recommended packages. It's just not working. Then there's plan B just find some supports mini-PCIe wlans that actually want to cooperate. We have like 60 of these laptops now. It's the Latitude 531. Any recommendations on cards that are cheap and will plug and play with Ubermix? 8)

This is a newer version of the package. Give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
