Had to remove the fglrx drivers.  This may have been fallout from the mods we made on the AMD V5-121

Most likely. I'm betting the AMD drivers reroute OpenGL, so when you install on an Intel device, 3D flakes.

Hello,
We are having the same issue with Google Earth and Acer Aspire V5-131, can you please elaborate on your fix?

I tried updating the AMD drivers with these instructions:

But Google Earth, Celestia, and Stellarium all will not open...

Thanks!

The AMD drivers won't work on this model - it has Intel graphics, not AMD. The base install will work fine, without modification.
