Q&A / install ubermix on a 9.04 ubuntu system

I have 1.08 img on a usb, 9.04 see the file can not create a key using your guide.
either can not find the file or dd command help. Im typing the following
sudo dd if=ubermix-key1.08.img of =/dev/sdb1
yes sdb1 is correct
yes the file is in my root of usb

Hardware Specific / Can i install on a ibm thinkpad i Series

The laptop has only 512 ram, 20 gig hard drive a cd rom, usb and no operating system on it.
